Duetto

Alison’s weekday afternoons used to feel like a race she never quite won.
By the time she finished work, picked up the kids, helped with homework, organised dinner, and prepared for the next day, there was still one big job waiting: ironing the school uniforms.
Shirts, trousers, skirts, PE kits – all needing to be neat and presentable. Add her husband’s shirts and a few bits of her own, and the pile kept growing.
She often found herself at the ironing board late in the evening, tired, with a long list still running in her head: lunches for tomorrow, permission slips, after-school activities, house chores, and that one email she still hadn’t answered.
Discovering the Duetto
One day, while visiting a friend, Alison noticed something different in her laundry room – a Duetto Smart Iron Board with integrated steam.
Her friend showed her how it worked: constant powerful steam, an active board with blowing and suction, and a heated surface that helped remove creases faster. It looked more like a professional system than a normal board. Alison realised that if anything could help her win back time, it was this.
A few weeks later, she decided to invest in a Duetto. Not as a luxury, but as a tool to make her days easier.
The first evening with the Duetto
That Sunday evening, normally “uniform marathon night”, Alison set up the Duetto and got started.
She began with the children’s cotton school shirts. As soon as she turned on the steam, she noticed the difference – strong, constant steam softened the fabric almost immediately. The suction function gently pulled the shirts flat against the board, keeping sleeves and fronts in place so they didn’t slide or wrinkle again as she moved the iron.
No more wrestling with the fabric. No more going over the same crease five times.
Then she tried the blowing function on her daughter’s delicate blouse with ruffles. A light air cushion lifted the fabric just enough so she could smooth it without pressing too hard. The blouse kept its shape, but the creases disappeared.
The heated surface was the final touch. Instead of the shirts feeling damp from the steam, they came off the board dry, smooth, and ready to hang straight into the wardrobe.
By the time she finished all the uniforms, Alison looked at the clock and realised something surprising: she had done everything in almost half the time.
More time for what really matters
As the weeks went by, using the Duetto became part of Alison’s routine – but without the stress.
She no longer had to iron late at night. If a uniform needed a quick touch-up in the morning, the Duetto handled it in minutes. Longer sessions were faster, lighter, and less tiring.
Instead of ending the day exhausted at the ironing board, Alison could sit with her children and talk about their day, watch an episode of a series, or plan the week ahead more calmly.
The difference wasn’t just in how the clothes looked – it was in how she felt: less rushed, less overwhelmed, more in control.
A small change with a big impact
For Alison, the Duetto isn’t just an ironing board. It’s a quiet helper in the background of family life—handling the heavy work with steam, suction, and heat, keeping uniforms crisp, and giving her back something precious: time.
Time to be with her family, to rest, and to breathe between all her responsibilities.
